Warren Youth SIngers

The Warren Youth Singers are a nationally recognized community choir that instills high-level musicianship and provides ample performance opportunities throughout the year. The WYS has traveled to New York and performed with the Distinguished Concerts International New York (DCINY) Choir at Carnegie Hall for presentations of I Hear America Singing: The Music of André Thomas and Greg Gilpin, the World Premiere of La Cigarra y La Hormigaby Cristian Grases and most recently ¡Buena Onda! Music from South America with famed composer Alberto Grau and conductor Maria Guinard. Locally, the WYS perform at a number of local community events throughout the year and have sung the National Anthem at Rice University Basketball games, performed holiday concerts for community organizations and Veterans’ Day themed events in conjunction with the Salvation Army.

Mission Statement

The Warren Youth Singers' mission is to provide young singers with the means and opportunities to experience and share the power and poetry of song while becoming active participants in their community.
